In a career spanning over 20 years in the technology sector, James has worked for the likes of Acer, Dell and Tech Data, and on behalf of the likes of HP and Microsoft. He came to specialise in the IT channel, helping vendors to sell their products and services through a network of IT distributors & resellers.
At Dell, James and his team worked directly with resellers, recruiting them and then equipping and enabling them to sell Dell’s product portfolio to B2B customers. He was initially focused on launching Dell’s channel partner program, both in the UK and across EMEA, beginning with a 20 page partner program guide (printed) and a content-rich partner portal – which James and the team built from scratch.
Latterly, As EMEA Channel Communications Director, James was responsible for all Dell’s partner communications, including email, direct mail, social media, events and marcom.
